As you were aware, this month, in partnership with Low Energy Designs for the second year running, founder of Teddy20 Owen Newton, Challenge Sponsor Alan Parker CEO of Low Energy Designs and 8 others are cycling across 4 countries over 4 days to raise money for Teddy20.
THE CYCLE IS NOW COMPLETE and was a huge success!
Le Teddy Tour 2018 involved a team of 9 cycling over 330 miles across France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany from 7th June to 12th June 2018 all to raise awareness and funds for Teddy20 Supporting Children with Cancer. The cyclists started in Calais, France on Thursday 7th June and finished on Monday 11th June just outside of Cologne, Germany.
The team (Owen Newton, Alan Parker, Steve Griffiths, Pete Armitage, James Blackham, Antony Newland, Kelly Wilcox, Martin Daniels Gary Coleman) cycled well over 365 miles exceeding their original total of 330 miles!
Special thanks must go Le Teddy Tour Co-ordinator Sophie Ferry for planning and organising the tour, to Alan Parker, CEO of Low Energy Designs for sponsoring the challenge, Ryan Emby at Riverside Travel for providing a minibus and driver Matt Phillips as well as Dave Baxter for driving the Teddy20 support vehicle, keeping our cyclists safe and on route.

This tour definitely wasn’t for the faint hearted and a massive thanks to everyone who sponsored and supported the cyclists because of them and the exceptional hard work from the cyclists all money raised will go towards helping children and young people suffering with cancer and undergoing treatment.
